WHAT ABOUT GIFTS?
Please, no gifts. A heartfelt card is more than enough, and there'll be a wishing well at the reception for those who'd like to contribute.

IS THERE FOOD AVAILABLE OUTSIDE OF THE WEDDING CATERING?
Only if you'd like to stay onsite. Book directly with Riverwood Downs and let them know you're attending our wedding. The accommodation we have held for guests is released on Friday 2 October 2027, so it's worth booking sooner rather than later.
HOW FAR IS IT FROM NEWCASTLE?
Around 1.5 to 2 hours by car.
HOW DO I GET THERE IF I DON'T DRIVE?
Public transport and rideshare aren't reliable options out here. Get in touch and we'll try to connect you with another guest travelling from your direction.
IS THERE FOOD AVAILABLE OUTSIDE OF THE WEDDING CATERING?
The venue has a restaurant, café, and kiosk but hours vary. For a full weekend stay, bringing groceries with you is the most reliable approach.

By 2.45 pm if you can, so you have time to settle in before the ceremony starts.

Of course, that's completely fine.

Friday evening: BYO BBQ on the property, relaxed and casual. Saturday: the wedding. Sunday from 9.30am: breakfast BBQ before people head home.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Cocktail attire. Lighter fabrics are worth thinking about for the daytime warmth, a layer for the evening is a good idea, and shoes you can walk and dance on grass in will serve you well. Our wedding party is in greens so we'd appreciate guests giving those a miss.
IS THE VENUE ACCESSIBLE?
IS THERE A QUIET SPACE AVAILABLE?

CAN I BRING MY DOG?
Main buildings have ramp access, the ceremony is on a level grass lawn, and vehicles can get close to the main event areas.

Yes, on the lawn throughout the wedding day.

CAN I BRING MY DOG?
Dogs are welcome at Riverwood Downs, just not at the ceremony or reception. Assistance animals are welcome everywhere throughout the weekend.
